Delhi gears up for the AI Impact Summit with Swiggy food stalls, QR-based entry, special student passes, traffic diversions, and infrastructure for over 2 lakh attendees at Bharat Mandapam.
Delhi is implementing extensive preparations for the India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled from February 16-20 at Bharat Mandapam. With an expected footfall of over 2 lakh participants, authorities have arranged comprehensive logistics and infrastructure.
Private players including Swiggy and Zepto have been permitted to set up food kiosks and dark stores within the venue for delegates to access meals and essentials during the event. Telecom companies have been directed to increase network capacity around event venues to ensure smooth connectivity.
A 24×7 “Artificial Intelligence for Good” programme has been planned from February 16 to spread awareness about ethical AI usage. Registration is open for all interested participants with no fee being charged. Participants receive QR code entry passes valid for February 16, 17, and 20.
Students appearing for ongoing CBSE board exams have been asked to carry authorized travel passes from their schools and colleges. Delhi Police will deploy traffic teams at crucial intersections, with parking facilitated at Delhi Zoo, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, and India Gate, with shuttles running between these spots and Bharat Mandapam.
The scale of preparation reflects India’s commitment to hosting what is expected to be the third-largest artificial intelligence conference globally, bringing together policymakers, developers, tech industry leaders, and students.
