TPIsoftware , a Taiwan-based enterprise software firm, has announced a strategic collaboration with Phison Electronics to establish AISO, AI for Sovereignty, a new industry alliance focused on empowering organizations worldwide to build and deploy AI on their own infrastructure using vetted, integrated solutions.

AISO, which stands for AI for Sovereignty, is a turnkey delivery alliance designed to simplify and accelerate enterprise AI adoption particularly for organizations in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, and the public sector.

The alliance operates around an “AISO Inside” standard, which ensures member solutions align with global compliance frameworks including the EU AI Act and national data governance regulations, while supporting the full AI lifecycle from deployment to ongoing operations.

The alliance’s founding philosophy addresses a widely recognized gap, despite the proliferation of AI tools, many enterprises especially in regulated environments struggle with implementation complexity, data residency obligations, and cost.

The core challenge of AI adoption is not the availability of solutions but the implementation process itself, specifically, whether AI capabilities can generate real business value with proper data governance and regulatory compliance. The AISO model offers bundled, pre-integrated solutions to reduce technical complexity and implementation costs significantly.

Phison Electronics brings its patented aiDAPTIV inference acceleration technology to the alliance. This proprietary technology enables enterprises to run large AI models on affordable, on-premises infrastructure by leveraging NAND flash storage as extended memory reducing dependence on costly GPU memory configurations.

AISO’s on-premises architecture supports enhanced data governance and data residency, aligning with rather than replacing the organization’s existing cloud-first approach.
