Wipro has launched a dedicated AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit, signaling a shift toward platform-led and AI-driven service delivery across its operations.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wipro has launched a dedicated AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit, signaling a shift toward platform-led and AI-driven service delivery across its operations. The move reflects increasing pressure on IT services firms to integrate automation and scalable systems into their core business models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new unit will focus on developing enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions and expanding Wipro\u2019s digital platform portfolio by consolidating existing assets, including NetOxygen, CROAMIS, healthcare platforms, and delivery systems such as WINGS and WEGA. The integration is designed to enable more scalable, outcome-based offerings while reducing reliance on traditional service delivery structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wipro said the unit will operate with a distinct model to accelerate AI-led business development through investments, partnerships and platform integration. The approach aligns with a broader industry shift toward \u201cservices as software,\u201d where delivery is increasingly automated and built on repeatable systems rather than human-intensive workflows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the restructuring, Nagendra Bandaru has been appointed CEO of the new unit, while Kanwar Singh joins as President and Managing Partner of Technology Services. Both appointments are effective immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restructuring follows similar moves across the industry, where IT services firms are seeking to decouple revenue growth from headcount. As AI-driven automation expands, traditional consulting models that rely on workforce scaling are facing increasing pressure.
