IBM latest FedRAMP approvals highlight how AI systems are moving into secure government environments, where compliance and trust are critical for large-scale deployment.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

IBM has secured Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorization for 11 artificial intelligence and automation software solutions, including key products from its watsonx portfolio, expanding its footprint in U.S. federal systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The approvals, achieved through IBM\u2019s strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services, enable federal agencies to access AI capabilities through AWS GovCloud (U.S.), a secure cloud environment designed for sensitive workloads. The move marks a four-fold expansion of IBM\u2019s FedRAMP-authorized portfolio within a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorized solutions span AI development, data management, governance and workflow automation. Tools such as watsonx.ai and watsonx.governance are designed to help agencies build, manage and deploy AI systems while maintaining compliance with federal security standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
