Daydream, an AI-native agency for organic search, closed a $15 million Series A funding round on April 2, led by WndrCo, with participation from First Round Capital and Basis Set Ventures. The raise brings total funding to $21 million and will fund hiring, product development, and go-to-market expansion, the company said.

The company combines SEO agents with human experts to deliver what it describes as full-service organic search support. Its model rests on three components: a proprietary framework covering seven levers of organic growth, automated SEO agents, and a dedicated growth lead assigned to each client.

We are bringing world-class SEO expertise, paired with agents, to every high-growth company and enabling maximum velocity in one of the most complex marketing channels to master.
Thenuka Karunaratne, chief executive officer and co-founder of Daydream.

The SEO market is massive, and AI is changing it faster than most companies can keep up.
ChenLi Wang, general partner at WndrCo.

Most companies are still optimizing for a version of search that no longer exists. We are building agents that can think, strategize, and execute everything a senior SEO practitioner can, and do it at the speed and scale that the age of generative AI demands.
Shravan Rajinikanth, chief technology officer and co-founder.

The funding arrives as institutional interest in AI-native agencies rises. In its Request for Startups for Spring 2026, Y Combinator ranked AI-native agencies third among startup categories it most wants to fund, per the company’s press release.

It is unclear how many clients Daydream currently serves or what revenue the company has generated. The company did not disclose those figures in the release. Daydream is headquartered in San Francisco.
