NeuBird AI has closed a $19.3M oversubscribed funding round led by Xora Innovation to expand its agentic AI platform for enterprise IT operations.

In a significant move for the enterprise AI space, NeuBird AI has announced the successful close of a $19.3 million oversubscribed funding round. The round was led by new investor Xora Innovation, with continued backing from existing investors Mayfield, StepStone Group, Prosperity7 Ventures, and M12, Microsoft’s venture fund.

Furthermore, the company plans to use this capital to accelerate product innovation, scale its global go-to-market strategy, and broaden access to its platform for DevOps, SRE, and IT operations teams across enterprises worldwide.

In traditional setups, engineering teams are buried under a constant flood of alerts, logs, and telemetry data. As a result, innovation slows down and operational strain intensifies. NeuBird AI’s platform directly addresses this pain point by replacing manual incident workflows with an autonomous, AI-driven production operations agent.

At the core of NeuBird AI’s offering is its Production Ops Agent, an agentic AI system that not only responds to incidents in real time but also detects risks predictively and optimises infrastructure costs proactively.

The investor sentiment behind this round reflects a broader confidence in NeuBird AI’s direction. Navin Chaddha of Mayfield highlighted the team’s clear vision and the measurable ROI already being delivered to customers. Meanwhile, Michelle Gonzalez, CVP and Global Head of M12 at Microsoft’s venture fund, emphasised that NeuBird’s agent is already operating alongside engineers in live production environments a proof point that goes beyond demos.

Additionally, Abhishek Shukla of Prosperity7 Ventures noted the platform’s ability to not just resolve incidents faster, but to prevent them altogether and continuously optimise systems. John Avirett of StepStone Group pointed to the company’s first year as evidence of strong execution and genuine industry traction.

Beyond funding, NeuBird AI has secured meaningful enterprise credibility through a series of partnerships and programmes. The company has achieved the AWS Generative AI Competency in both Generative AI Applications and Infrastructure & Data. It has also been accepted into the AWS Generative AI Accelerator and the Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program both of which provide access to enterprise cloud networks on Azure and AWS.

On the leadership front, the company recently appointed Venkat Ramakrishnan, formerly of Everpure and a key figure in scaling Portworx through its acquisition by Pure Storage, as President, signalling a deliberate push toward enterprise growth.

NeuBird AI was founded by Goutham Rao and Vinod Jayaraman, serial entrepreneurs who previously co-founded Portworx, which was acquired by Pure Storage. The San Francisco-based startup is building agentic AI for production operations, enabling enterprises to shift from reactive incident response to proactive, intelligent IT management.
