Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup Ctruh has raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), with participation from Avinya Ventures, India Accelerator, Founder’s Avenue, Anthill Ventures, LVX, and angel investors Vivek Sinha and Shivakumar Ganesan.
The company said the funds will be used to advance research and development, enhance its proprietary browser-native 3D engine and VersaAI generative AI platform, and expand go-to-market efforts across the United States and the UAE in 2026.
Founded in 2023 by Vinay Agastya, Ctruh is building infrastructure for the spatial internet through a browser-native 3D engine that enables high-fidelity immersive experiences—up to 16K resolution—to run directly on the web without downloads or specialized hardware. Its in-house generative AI engine, VersaAI, converts text, images, and video into production-ready 3D assets, reducing content creation time from weeks to minutes.

The company’s flagship product, Commverse Studio, is positioned as an AI-powered unified XR commerce platform that allows brands to deploy immersive 3D experiences in under 30 minutes.
Ctruh gained early visibility after appearing on Shark Tank India Season 5 and has since received industry recognition, including the Aegis Graham Bell Award for Innovation in Immersive Experience and selection as an ELEVATE 2025 winner by the Government of Karnataka.
According to IPV, the startup differentiates itself by combining AI, 3D, and extended reality (XR) into a single scalable platform in a crowded AI market. The company is targeting use cases across retail, automotive, real estate, education, and healthcare.
The global XR market is projected to reach $346 billion in 2026 and scale beyond $2.1 trillion by 2034, while India’s XR market is expected to grow from $4.8 billion to $14.1 billion by 2027, supported by policy initiatives and cost advantages in software delivery.
Ctruh, currently a team of 36, plans to expand internationally as it positions itself as a foundational layer for browser-native, AI-powered immersive experiences.
