The company has raised $117 million to expand its AI cloud infrastructure globally, as demand for scalable, high-performance compute continues to surge among enterprises building AI applications.

Verda, a Finland-based AI infrastructure company, has raised $117 million in fresh funding to accelerate product development and expand its global footprint across Europe, the US, and Asia.

The round includes equity funding led by Lifeline Ventures, with participation from byFounders, Tesi, and Varma, alongside debt financing from a group of Nordic financial institutions.

Founded in 2020, Verda, formerly known as DataCrunch, is building AI cloud infrastructure designed to provide high-performance compute on demand, enabling developers and enterprises to scale AI workloads without the complexity of traditional cloud procurement. The company operates a vertically integrated model, managing everything from physical servers and data centers to application-layer tools.

With the new capital, Verda plans to expand into new markets including the UK and the US, while hiring over 100 employees by the end of 2026 to support growing demand.

Founder and CEO Ruben Bryon said the company is focused on building next-generation infrastructure for AI teams globally, adding that strong market momentum is driving both product development and international expansion efforts.

Verda’s data centers in Finland run on 100% renewable energy, leveraging the region’s advantages in clean electricity and cooling efficiency. The company reported that its operations are already cash flow positive, with revenue run rate doubling to over $60 million in Q1 2026.

Verda is also part of NVIDIA’s Preferred Partner network and works with clients including Nokia, 1X, ExpressVPN, and Freepik.

The latest funding highlights continued investor interest in AI infrastructure players as demand for scalable compute and efficient cloud systems rises alongside enterprise AI adoption.
