Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the India AI Impact Expo 2026, a five-day event bringing together global leaders, startups, and 500+ AI sessions at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the India AI Impact Expo 2026 on February 16 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The five-day event runs from February 16 to 20, positioning India as the first Global South nation to host a world-scale AI conference.
The Expo spans more than 70,000 square metres across 10 arenas, bringing together global technology firms, startups, academia, research institutions, Union Ministries, State Governments, and international partners. It will host over 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations.
The event features 13 country pavilions showcasing international collaboration, including Australia, Japan, Russia, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and African nations. Ministerial delegations from over 45 countries are participating.
More than 500 sessions will be organized during the Expo and Summit, featuring over 3,250 visionary speakers and panel members. The Summit is expected to attract over 2.5 lakh visitors, including international delegates.
The event is anchored in three Sutras: People, Planet, and Progress. These Sutras will define India’s approach to global AI cooperation. PM Modi emphasized that the summit reflects “the potential and capability of our country’s youth” and India’s rapid progress in science and technology.
