AM Intelligence to Deploy 9,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs in Hyderabad
AM Intelligence (AMI), an AI infrastructure platform promoted by the founders of Greenko, has placed a firm and binding order for approximately 9,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs for its first AI factory in Hyderabad.

Greenko-promoted AMI plans to deploy NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 systems as part of a 1 GW Compute-as-a-Service expansion
AM Intelligence (AMI), an AI infrastructure platform promoted by the founders of Greenko, has placed a firm and binding order for approximately 9,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs for its first AI factory in Hyderabad.
The GPUs are scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2027 and will be deployed as NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 rack-scale systems, covering 30 MW of capacity. AMI said the facility is expected to become one of Asia’s first frontier AI compute clusters.
The Hyderabad AI factory is the first tranche of AMI’s planned 1 GW of Compute-as-a-Service capacity across India, the United States, Finland and Malaysia. The company plans to bring an initial 200 MW of capacity to market, involving more than $8 billion in capital expenditure, according to the company.

The facility is being designed with NVIDIA Vera Rubin architecture, RDMA over Converged Ethernet networking and advanced storage systems to support large-scale AI workloads, including trillion-parameter models and next-generation agentic AI applications.
NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin NVL72 platform features NVFP4, a low-precision computing format, and next-generation HBM4 memory. AMI said its Hyderabad facility is being engineered to deliver approximately 450 exaFLOPS of NVFP4 inference compute.

“For over two decades, we have focused on transforming electrons into value,” said Anil Chalamalasetty, chairman, AM Intelligence. “Bringing latest generation NVIDIA Vera Rubin to India marks the next step in this journey and establishes AMI at the forefront of the emerging AI electron-to-token economy.”
AMI said it is developing 5 GW of powered AI data centers across India, the United States and Europe, with infrastructure designed for high-density AI computing and liquid cooling.
The company also plans to provide compute infrastructure to hyperscalers, AI labs, enterprises, sovereign AI initiatives and developers through its Compute-as-a-Service offering.
