Moglix Bets on AI with Animesh Srivastava as New CTO

Moglix has appointed Animesh Srivastava as Chief Technology Officer, effective March 9, 2026.

Moglix has brought in a founder and engineer with over two decades of experience to lead its technology and AI charter, and to scale Cognilix, its AI operating system for B2B commerce, across global markets.

Moglix has appointed Animesh Srivastava as Chief Technology Officer, effective March 9, 2026. Srivastava will oversee engineering, product development, data science, and AI platform architecture across the company’s business verticals, with a mandate that extends across India, Europe, North America, GCC, and Southeast Asia.

The appointment is tied directly to Cognilix, Moglix’s AI-led operating system for B2B procurement and commerce, built on ten years of real industrial transaction data. Srivastava’s primary task is to scale it globally and translate its AI capabilities into measurable outcomes for enterprise customers managing complex supply chains.

Manufacturing and supply chains are fundamental to the global economy, yet their digital infrastructure remains fragmented. At Moglix, we are building AI-native systems that align with how industrial enterprises actually operate.

Srivastava brings more than 20 years of experience spanning enterprise technology, mobile platforms, and electric mobility. He founded Ajani Infotech, which built a portfolio of over 1,000 mobile applications across gaming and consumer categories, accumulating more than 100 million cumulative downloads. He co-founded Massive Mobility, a venture-backed EV startup focused on charging infrastructure and fintech, and served as CEO of GoMassive Earth Network. An IIT Kanpur alumnus, he has worked across India and the United States.

Rahul Garg, Founder and CEO of Moglix, described the hire as central to the company’s next phase. “Over the past decade, we have built one of Asia’s largest B2B platforms, connecting more than 45,000 suppliers with enterprises globally,” Garg said. “Animesh combines founder-led thinking with deep engineering expertise, and will play a critical role in strengthening Moglix as a globally competitive deep tech platform.”

Moglix has facilitated over $40 billion in transactions, operates across 80+ countries, manages 58 warehouses, and offers more than 1.2 million SKUs. Cognilix integrates into existing enterprise systems across procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration. Early adopters of the platform report inventory reductions of up to 30% and faster procurement cycles, according to the company.

The hire reflects a broader shift in how Moglix is positioning itself, away from marketplace and toward deep tech infrastructure. Industrial supply chains are under pressure from cost volatility, geopolitical disruption, and the sheer complexity of managing thousands of SKUs across global supplier networks. Cognilix is the bet that AI, trained on a decade of real transaction data at scale, can bring order to that complexity.
