Anthropic is hiring a senior program manager for its communications team, a position that will coordinate the company’s product launches, public announcements and rapid response situations. The role is based in San Francisco or New York and pays an annual salary of $255,000 to $320,000, according to the listing on Anthropic’s careers site.

The job calls for at least 10 years of experience in program management, communications operations or a closely related field, including significant time working in or alongside communications teams. Anthropic says the person will partner with communications leadership and serve as a connection point across the wider company.

Day to day, the program manager would run the operating rhythm for major campaigns, covering planning, prioritization, status reporting and retrospectives. The listing asks the candidate to turn ambiguous, fast-changing projects into clear workstreams with defined owners, timelines and decision points. Other responsibilities include building alignment across teams such as product, marketing, policy, legal and research, and designing playbooks, crisis response protocols and escalation paths.
