Kluisz in Talks to Raise $25 Million as AI Data Center Demand Grows
Greenoaks is in advanced discussions to invest about $25 million in Bengaluru-based AI data center startup Kluisz

Global internet investment firm Greenoaks is eyeing an investment in Kluisz as investor interest in AI infrastructure grows, driven by rising demand for enterprise-scale computing.
Greenoaks is in advanced discussions to invest about $25 million in Bengaluru-based AI data center startup Kluisz, according to reporting by MoneyControl. The funding round is expected to include participation from existing investors, including RTP Global and Blume Ventures and may increase in size as negotiations continue.
Kluisz, founded by former executives from Oyo, McKinsey and Jio, builds private cloud infrastructure tailored for artificial intelligence workloads. The startup previously raised $9.6 million in a seed round in July 2025.
The investment highlights a surge in venture capital interest in Indian deep-tech sectors. According to Tracxn data, the sector raised $690 million in the first half of fiscal year 2026, up from $450 million during the same period last year. While the total number of deals has declined, larger individual investments suggest growing confidence in the sector.
Greenoaks, a U.S.-based firm known for backing Indian unicorns such as Flipkart and Cred, has increasingly pivoted toward deep-tech opportunities.
