TestMu AI expands its Real Device Cloud with Java, Python Playwright support, plus Audio Injection for real iOS and Android devices.

TestMu AI, formerly known as LambdaTest, has announced two major upgrades to its Real Device Cloud. The company now supports Playwright automation in multiple programming languages. It has also introduced Audio Injection and Live Audio Input for real iOS and Android devices.

These updates come as mobile applications grow more complex. Testing today requires more than checking screens. Voice interactions, audio inputs, and real-time user experiences are now central to how apps work. Until now, many teams relied on JavaScript for Playwright automation. That created friction for enterprise developers working in other languages.

With this latest release, TestMu AI supports Playwright tests on real devices using Java, Python, and C#, in addition to existing capabilities. This allows engineering teams to use their preferred language ecosystems without switching to JavaScript-only workflows.

Furthermore, this change fits into existing CI/CD pipelines. Teams do not need to rebuild their automation setups. The enhancement enables seamless integration of real device testing into existing automation pipelines, improving coverage and reliability across mobile environments.

Beyond Playwright, TestMu AI is targeting a growing gap in mobile app testing audio. The company has introduced Audio Injection and Live Audio Input for real Android and iOS devices, enabling teams to simulate and validate microphone-based interactions directly during test execution.

In practice, this opens the door for automating tests that were once manual-only. Testers can now inject pre-recorded audio or stream live input into devices, making it possible to automate testing for use cases such as KYC voice verification, speech-to-text, in-app audio recording, conferencing workflows, and audio-driven user journeys.

Applications today are no longer just visual; they are interactive, voice-enabled, and context-driven. Testing these experiences requires infrastructure that can replicate real-world conditions. With multi-language Playwright support and audio testing on real iOS devices, we’re enabling teams to validate more realistic user scenarios without relying on manual intervention.
