The company is positioning NewgenONE as a unified orchestration platform for workflows, AI agents, decisions, compliance, and enterprise operations.

Newgen Software has expanded NewgenONE, its enterprise orchestration platform, to run AI agents directly inside workflows rather than as a separate layer on top of them.

The move targets a problem most large banks and insurers know well. A mortgage application might pass through six different systems before reaching approval, a workflow tool, a document platform, a compliance checker, a risk engine, a communications layer, each connected through integrations that were never designed to work together. Newgen’s pitch is that NewgenONE handles all of it in one coordinated flow, with AI doing the coordination.

CEO Virender Jeet say, “Most organizations are still stitching together workflows, decision engines, content systems, and AI models through integrations that were never designed to operate as one intelligent system.”

To keep that AI from going unchecked, Newgen is building a controlled action layer that defines exactly what agents can and cannot do inside a company’s systems, trigger a notification, route a file for review, run a credit check, with every action logged and traceable. For banks and government agencies that need to explain decisions to regulators, that auditability is likely the more persuasive feature.

The platform also grounds AI decisions in verified company documents rather than letting models approximate what a policy might say, a fix, but one that matters when the AI is reviewing loan applications against actual lending guidelines.

Rivals including ServiceNow and Salesforce are making similar arguments about unified orchestration. Newgen’s advantage is two decades of production deployments inside the sectors it is selling to. Whether one platform can genuinely replace the fragmented stack most enterprises have built up over years is still an open question. Newgen is betting it can.
