India’s Sutikshana Technologies Rolls Out Samwaad.ai, an AI-Powered Interview Coach

New Delhi-based Sutikshana Technologies has launched Samwaad.ai, an AI-powered interview coaching platform aimed at Indian candidates preparing for technical job interviews, US visa appointments and competitive examinations such as the UPSC Civil Services.
The platform runs mock interviews tailored to a candidate’s resume, target role, visa category or UPSC Detailed Application Form (DAF). According to the company, the AI adapts as sessions progress, tracking which topics have been covered and increasing depth where gaps appear. After each session, candidates receive feedback covering content quality, communication clarity, response structure, confidence, eye contact, posture and overall delivery, along with pointers on which topics need more work.

Sutikshana describes Samwaad.ai as built specifically for Indian applicants, with the system designed to handle Indian accents and the technical language used in software engineering, data science, product management and consulting roles. For UPSC aspirants, the company says questions are drawn from the candidate’s DAF and updated daily to reflect current affairs. For US visa preparation, simulations are tailored to the applicant’s profile and visa category.
“India has immense talent. What we are solving for is the gap between being ready and being able to show it,” said Himanshu Sharma, CEO of Sutikshana Technologies. He said the goal is to give candidates a space to practice the conversations that shape their careers in a format built for how interviews actually run in India.
The company is positioning the platform against generic AI tools, which it says often miss technical context and Indian conversational nuance. Sutikshana Technologies is a New Delhi tech startup focused on AI products for Indian and international markets, with Samwaad.ai launching as its consumer-facing platform.
The category itself is already crowded, with global tools like Final Round AI and Interviewer.AI and a number of Indian edtech players offering interview prep. Samwaad.ai’s bet is that India-specific design, from accent handling to UPSC DAF integration to US visa simulation, will be enough to set it apart. Whether that translates into meaningful traction will depend on how well the product handles the nuance it claims to.
