TelioLabs Appoints Piyush Sarwal as Chief Technology & AI Officer

Based out of Dallas, Sarwal will lead technology and AI operations across Asia, the US, Europe, and the Middle East.

TelioLabs, a global deep-tech professional services company specializing in AI, telecom, cloud computing, BFSI, IoT, enterprise solutions, and managed services, has appointed Piyush Sarwal as its Chief Technology & AI Officer.

A seasoned technology and business leader with over 27 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industry, Sarwal previously served as Vice President – Product Strategy & Architecture at Oracle Communications from 2020 to 2024. He is also recognized as a Distinguished Certified Architect by The Open Group for delivering large-scale OSS/BSS solutions globally.

Over the course of his career, Sarwal has led cloud-native and SaaS transformations, AI/ML initiatives, and OSS/BSS product development programs across global telecommunications ecosystems. His expertise spans artificial intelligence, hybrid cloud, 5G, edge computing, and enterprise systems integration.

Prior to Oracle, Sarwal spent nearly 14 years at IBM, where he held the dual roles of Chief Technology Officer and Distinguished Engineer between 2006 and 2020. During his tenure, he worked extensively with telecom service providers worldwide, helping modernize communications infrastructure through strategic consulting and technology transformation programs.

At TelioLabs, he will also lead TelioQuantAI, the company’s enterprise AI and automation platform focused on generative AI, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation. The platform is designed to help enterprises enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experiences, and enable data-driven decision-making.

In his new role, he will oversee product strategy, AI platform architecture, and technology roadmap execution across TelioLabs’ global operations. Based out of Dallas, Texas, he will lead technology initiatives across Asia, the US, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and other key international markets.
