Exato.ai Ropes In TCS Veteran Murali Menon as Chief AI Officer

Menon, who spent over two decades at Tata Consultancy Services, most recently as CTO and Global Head of Engineering for its Cloud Unit, joins the Chennai-based AI and CX firm.

Exato.ai has appointed Murali Menon as its Chief AI Officer, based in Chennai. The company announced the move on LinkedIn.

Menon brings more than 26 years of experience in AI, technology, and enterprise transformation. He spent over 20 years at Tata Consultancy Services, most recently serving as CTO and Global Head of Engineering and Offerings for the Cloud Unit from April 2025 to May 2026.

Before that, he was CTO of Cognitive Business Operations for nearly seven years, and earlier CTO and Global Technology Practice Head for IT Infrastructure Services. His expertise spans enterprise AI, AI-powered customer experience, cloud and AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cognitive business processes.

As Chief AI Officer, Menon will lead Exato.ai’s AI and innovation strategy, scale its AI capabilities, drive responsible AI adoption, and help unlock new growth opportunities, the company said. His mandate also covers AI CX, enterprise AI, AI infrastructure, and digital native practices.

Exato.ai is a Chennai-based firm offering AI, ERP, and customer experience services, with a focus on conversational AI, contact-center-as-a-service, automation, and data analytics.
